FOOTBALL SEASON...GO UTES

So the 2008 football season starts off with a bang on Saturday against Michigan. Jared is SO excited! He wishes he could be there, but the next best thing is the have friends over to watch the game. So if you are around for the game come on over. Jared is cooking! YUM! The game starts at 1:30 pm our time. And I even heard that ESPN has us upsetting Michigan and beating them. But hopefully they win, because we don't want unhappy boys! GO UTES!

The picture above is from last season of me and Kati, that was one of the games Jared didn't get to come to, so I was on the 2nd row with Kati. She was such a nice friend to let me stand by her!

New house Layout

This is the floor plan of our new little home. It's scanned from the flyer so it's not a great picture, but it shows you the layout. We should be closing September 24 so I will be packing during my long 4 day weekend!

This is looking the other way in the living room. Behind the wall is the hall that goes to the master bedroom. The open door on the right is one of the bedrooms.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It's over 1200 square feet, small but fun! It has a really cute little back yard. I'm so excited and I can hardly stand it!

We are buying a home!

I'm so excited! We made an offer on a house in North Salt Lake last week and they took the offer! So we should close September 24. I'll post some pictures when I get them. Until then if you look on any of the mls sites the address is 247 Caleb Dr.

This is one of our engagement pictures. It was taken by our wonderful brother-in-law Bart. We are under some random bridge back in Maryland. We are actually laughing in this picture because Bart was standing on some rocks and almost fell in the water. It was the choice words that he used that we were laughing at.

My first blog

This is my first post. I'm new at this, but I'm sure I will get better. As for what I have been up to...not much, just working. I work for the State of Utah. I'm a secretary for the Division of Water Rights, random I know. Jared is still working for Shapiro selling luggage. He graduated from the U last December. We are still living by the University, hopefully we will buy a home soon. When i get home I will post some pictures from our last vacations.
