More Floyd...

I don't have kids...so I blog about my dog (who is my child, just of the canine kind). The best way to describe the way he looks is he has the body shape of a basset hound and the hair of a terrier. He is the happiest dog I have ever been around. He loves everyone, sometimes too much. He's an awful guard dog, but great with kids. His new found love is going on walks (more like runs) with my nieces. I will try and get a picture of this. They wear each other out.
He is so sweet, I can't imagine life without him. He has been an expensive free dog(due to the neglect of previous owners), but worth every penny. Who needs kids when you have a dog like him? (jk).
Today he went to the groomer, which was much needed...now he's all clean. Here are some pictures.

How can you resist those big brown eyes? I can't, and Jared can't either.

This is our wonderful neighbor Nate with Floyd and Jared. They are sitting on the bench to our table. Floyd loves being in the middle of everything.

New addition to the Nelson family...

No...it's not a baby(which I know is what you were thinking)....it's a car!!!

So we used to have a Jeep. I really enjoyed it...Jared did not. (which I don't know why he cares since it wasn't his car). But one day I came home from work and Jared said that he found the car we needed to buy...and this was it. It's a 2004 BMW X5 with really low miles. This picture is not our actual car, I haven't taken a picture of it yet. But this is about what it looks like.

So thanks to Jared's inability to say no to a good deal on a BMW, I now have a new car. It's REALLY fancy! It took me hours to figure out how to turn off the back wiper blade the other day, which I found out is water sensitive, and it could tell there was still water on it. So need to just keep it off.
To help justify Jared in our purchase, Jared's older brother TJ is a BMW mechanic which will help with fixing it up when it breaks down in the future...which I really hope isn't anytime soon.
