Introducing Floyd

This is the newest member of our little family. His name is Floyd. He's a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen. He needed a new home so we gladly took him in! He is pretty chill, really good with kids, and already house broken. Hopefully he will stay pretty chill and not pee all over everything. But he LOVES to play fetch almost as much as Jared loves to play with him. We love him so much already!

Happy Birthday to ME!

So my birthday was a few weeks ago and my wonderful friends took me and Jared to Cafe Rio for dinner. It was so much fun and it was so great to see some of my friends!The girls outside...Eliza, Kati, me, Brooke, and AndreaEliza didn't want her drink in the picture...me and Katimy cute husband came for the foodme and BrookeKati and Eliza, I love those girls!and last but for sure not least, the newly weds Mike and Andrea. They are so cute together!

Texas!

So Jared and I went to Dallas, Texas this last July to visit some of my family. We had a great time with them just hanging out!

The trip was a blast and I was so happy that I could spend time with my family that I don't get to see much.

Twilight

So I'm not a big reader, it takes a good book for me to get so into it that I lose sleep, because I need my sleep...but this series has done that! I only started reading them like two weeks ago, so I'm almost done with the second book New Moon. With all of the chaos of my life right now, these books have been so nice to lose myself in and escape reality. If you haven't read them yet, I really recommend them, they are a really easy read and so much fun! The movie for the first book Twilight comes out in a few weeks, and I'm so excited to go see it...and yes I am going to the midnight showing.

I think they did a really good job casting Edward...because he's pretty hot! (and he was in one of the Harry Potter movies!).

I'm sorry this is such a dumb blog, but I'll try to get pictures of Jared in his Darth Vader costume and post them...I didn't dress up this year, I was a party pooper.
